March Newsletter – Bach To Basics Music
It’s hard to believe it’s March already—it still feels like the academic year just started! That said, a warm welcome to all the new students who joined Bach To Basics Music in February. I’m excited to start this musical journey with you and look forward to our first month of weekly lessons together.
February was a busy month, filled with new projects and ideas. One of the most exciting developments is that I’ve officially started my own publishing company, Up-Tempo Publishing. This project might interest students who are curious about self-publishing, whether for their own music or just to learn about the process. Through Up-Tempo Publishing, I’ll be documenting my steps in setting up the company, sharing insights into self-publishing, and offering tutorials for those interested in publishing their own compositions. Once the website is up and running, it will serve as an additional educational resource for anyone looking to explore the world of self-publishing.
Looking ahead to March, I plan to post more videos to the Bach To Basics YouTube channel and continue developing Up-Tempo Publishing. One of my goals for the publishing website is to provide free downloadable sheet music that students can use for sight-reading practice. While designing and developing the site will take time, I believe it will be a valuable resource in the long run.
