Hey there! I’m Trevor, and welcome to Bach To Basics Music.
Whether you want to master the piano or explore new areas of music, you’re in the right place.
For over 25 years, I’ve taught students of all ages, helping them develop their piano skills and discover new musical interests. As a Royal Conservatory of Music-certified piano and theory teacher, with additional training in music production and orchestration from Berklee College of Music Online, I’ve worked with students to explore everything from recording, producing, composing, and score writing to experimenting with guitar, drums, and helping students set up their own home studios.
While I wouldn’t call myself an expert in these areas, parents have often asked me to introduce these various topics in lessons based on their child’s interests. For the past decade, I’ve blended these creative outlets into piano and theory lessons, boosting students’ confidence and encouraging their curiosity.
If you’re looking for traditional piano lessons, I’ve got you covered. But if you’re looking for something more explorative—whether it’s experimenting with guitar, learning the basics of recording, or composing and arranging—we can seamlessly incorporate these interests into your lessons, giving you a well-rounded musical experience.

Until next time, I’m just a music teacher having fun. Catch ya on the next one.
