Piano Lessons in Duncan
While my studio specializes in providing online piano and theory lessons through Skype or Zoom, here are some music schools that might strike the right chord if you’re looking for in-person piano lessons in Duncan, British Columbia. These aren’t endorsements, just friendly suggestions to help guide your musical journey.
1. Queen Margaret’s School:
- It provides a comprehensive music program as part of its broader educational offerings. Its unique programming includes a variety of Advanced Placement courses and other innovative learning strategies. It provides a structured and supportive environment for students from Early Childhood Education to Grade 12. Queen Margaret is not a place for private piano lessons as such. Students wishing to take lessons here would have to enroll in the school, which is not ideal for most people seeking regular weekly piano lessons.

2. Sunrise Waldorf School:
- Provides music education as part of its Waldorf curriculum from early childhood through class eight. The school is located on a seven-acre campus in the Cowichan Valley. It is known for its holistic and artistic approach to education. This again is not the best option for providing private piano, guitar, bass, drum or voice lessons, as you have to enroll in a program and pass enrollment.

These schools provide a variety of music education opportunities. However, some don’t appear to be your typical music school. From my research, most music education for this community is provided by private music instructors, allowing students in Duncan to find suitable programs to meet their musical goals.
