Happy New Year, everyone!
Welcome back to all of my current students, and a warm welcome to the new students joining the studio this month. I’m really looking forward to getting back into lessons and hearing all about how your holidays went when we meet next.
For those of you writing theory exams this January, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or would like to review specific topics. We can absolutely spend time clarifying anything that needs a little extra attention.
As we move into 2026, I’m excited to continue developing new learning resources for students here at the studio. My goal is always to make lessons as focused, flexible, and meaningful as possible, so we can concentrate on what matters most to you in your musical journey.
A special welcome to my new adult students who are continuing their studies — whether you’re learning for personal enjoyment or working toward registering for and taking Royal Conservatory of Music exams. It’s great to be starting another year filled with music together.
For my younger students, there will be plenty of games to play and opportunities to move up the leaderboard during our weekly lesson games, which we usually enjoy at the end of lessons for those who are interested.
As always, if you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me — I’m always happy to help. This is just a short update to kick off the new year, and I’m looking forward to another exciting year of lessons.
Thank you once again for the privilege of being your piano and theory instructor.
Until next time, happy practicing!
Trevor
