Welcome to all the new students who have joined my studio for summer lessons. Summer is always a fun and exciting time to continue learning, whether you are just starting piano, working on new pieces, or digging deeper into music theory and composition.
Thank you all for a wonderful academic year in the studio. The end of June marks the close of the regular school year, but my studio remains open for students who wish to continue lessons over the summer. I have some great things planned, and I’m looking forward to making the summer lessons both productive and enjoyable.
For students spending part of the summer preparing for upcoming RCM exam sessions, we will continue working carefully through the required material to make sure you feel confident, prepared, and ready for your exam.
For those of you who read last month’s newsletter, you may remember that I have been making some changes to the way the studio runs, including additional cameras and new visual tools to help enhance the online learning experience. I will continue looking for new ways to make lessons more interactive, engaging, and effective for every student.
There will also be some additional updates coming to some of my other music education companion websites as I continue to refine their focus and resources. These changes have taken a little longer than expected due to the number of students enrolled this year, which has left a little less time for additional projects. Still, I’m excited about the direction everything is heading.
Thank you again for a wonderful academic year in the studio. I look forward to seeing you at our next lesson.
Kind regards,
Trevor
