A Busy Month Behind Us
Last month was a very active one in the studio. Welcome to all new students who joined in October—spots are limited, and I’m grateful you were able to find times that fit your schedules. I’m looking forward to working with each of you this year.
Illustrious Sound – Progress Update
Work continues on the Illustrious Sound companion website. I’m currently preparing over 140 short videos for an introductory series that shows how my home studio developed from the beginning.
The goal of the series is simple:
- to demonstrate that progress takes time,
- to show how small sparks of an idea can grow into creative solutions, and
- to encourage students to explore their own curiosity and problem-solving skills.
RCM Exam Season
For students preparing for RCM theory exams, registration is now open as the exams take place in December.
Piano students planning to take their practical exam in January—feel free to bring any questions you have to your lessons as we begin preparing.
Up-Tempo Publishing – New Materials Coming Soon
I’ll soon be adding more printed resources to my other teaching companion website, Up-Tempo Publishing, as I continue developing additional educational materials for students and teachers.
