Welcome to all of the new students joining the studio this month. I’m very happy to have you here!
I would also like to wish all of my Canadian students a happy Canada Day, and all of my students in the United States a happy Independence Day.
This month, I am making a few small changes to how I share studio updates and online resources. These newsletters will continue as quick updates about what is happening in the studio and what resources are available for students. However, the blog area of the website will soon be changing into more of a news and updates hub.
The name may become something like News, Studio News, Updates, or What’s New, but the idea is simple: it will become the place to find out what is happening across all of my websites. If I have a new book coming out, new free downloads, new educational videos, or any other helpful resources, they will be announced there.
I’m not exactly sure when this change will take place, but it will most likely happen sometime in July.
In lessons, students and I cover so many different topics, including piano, theory, exam preparation, composing, recording, music publishing, and sometimes just learning music for the fun of it. Because of that, I enjoy creating resources as they are needed and exploring these interesting topics with students. That is one of the reasons I have created several websites over the years.
My hope is that, over time, I will be able to add many more resources to these websites and continue building them into the helpful learning spaces I want them to be.
Until next time, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and I look forward to seeing you at your next lesson.
Kind regards,
Trevor
