I’m not sure what it is about the creative spirit that leads people involved in the arts to explore their imaginations in multiple creative outlets, but there is something there. It’s common for the music students I teach to express themselves through music, art, crafts and even literature. Whatever the reason, creative people need to explore their ideas by creating something that the world can see, hear, touch, or experience.
Liam Wilson, a student of mine for many years, has excelled in his piano studies and ventured into a new creative realm as the author of his first book, ‘The Malignancy.’ I couldn’t be prouder of his achievements and willingness to explore new horizons.
During our recent lesson, Liam shared his ambitious plans for his book launch. His initiative, from ordering physical copies of his book to approaching stores and setting up his launch event, is commendable. The dedication and hard work he’s put into this project, especially considering his high school commitments, is a testament to his passion and drive.
