Welcome! Due to the large intake of new students, the game leaderboard is getting rather lengthy, which is excellent. The number of new students enrolling in lessons means even more fun and friendly competition during lessons. While my teaching schedule has filled up a little more, there are still spaces available for those interested in enrolling. I’m teaching throughout Canada and the United States; with the different time zones, scheduling can sometimes be more flexible than one would think.
Last month, I mentioned launching several new YouTube channels; I still am. However, my increased teaching schedule has slowed down the process a little. I hope to be able to update students next month with the news of having some videos on those additional channels. These extra channels will cover the basics of music theory, composing and publishing, music production and home studios. This project is something I always wanted to do, and I feel it’s of interest to a few of my current students who are interested in these topics. I wish to create these video channels because the videos will be directly related to our lessons. Our lessons are very introductory in these areas, so I encourage students to seek other YouTube channels and resources for more detailed information and a much more expert opinion.
Over the next several months, I hope to add more resources to the student area to help students with their music studies and facilitate their learning and practice. My goal is to build up the student area of the website, making it a great place to find quick information and resources, but all of this will take time, so stay tuned.
Those are all the updates for November, so thanks for stopping by. I look forward to seeing you at our next lesson.
